Experience
Matt has extensive experience in both performance and education including various adjunct faculty positions, notations in national magazines, and performances with such jazz greats as Ellis Marsalis and Nicholas Payton.
Honors include selection into the "Louis Armstrong Quintet" and International Association of Jazz Educators All Star Collegiate Big Band. He is also a member of the Jazz Educators Network, International Trumpet Guild, and Collegiate Music Society.

Repertoire
In addition to his broad selection of solo jazz music, Matt's repertoire includes jazz combo, big band, brass quintet, concert band, musicals, rock band and New Orleans styles. His service as a musician with various armed forces ensembles have further broadened his wide range of musical styles.

Bookings & Lessons
Matt has studied with such greats as Ellis Marsalis, Irvin Mayfield, and Clyde Kerr. Music has taken him all over the world and he has performed at such venues as Carnegie Hall, Birdland, Symphony Hall, and other high profile venues. Matt has a very active teaching and performing schedule. He is available for clinics, concerts, and lessons.
